History Fun Fact! Contrary to popular depiction, Nija gear was rarely black, and never white or of any kind of clear or bright color. The average ninja gear was dark blue, dull grey, or some other dark or dull color. This helped them camouflage at night by mixing with dark alleys, woods, bushes, etc. They also avoided killing people, other than assasination targets, since each death meant a corpse they had to conceal before it alerted enemies. This also meant avoiding direct confrontation with enemies.
That is why I don’t like most ninja themed anime and manga.
